About:

C-CAP of Front Royal / Warren County is a non-profit, tax-exempt (501(3)(c)) charitable service organization that has been providing emergency food, clothing, or financial assistance to needy Front Royal / Warren County residents since 1978.  It was created after a community-wide effort that recognized the need for a "Safety-Net" to provide assistance to needy local families who were either not eligible for aid from other community sources or where additional aid was needed due to particular, individual circumstances

C-CAP has no paid staff and is operated entirely by about 45 unpaid volunteers, who volunteer one half day or more each month.  All resources; food, clothing, and financial, are donated by local churches, civic groups or organizations, individuals or businesses.

Office Hours:

9:00a.m. until 12:00 noon on weekdays whenever the Public Schools are open.  During the summer, the office is open weekdays except holidays.  During operating hourse, the office is staffed by two volunteers (an interviewer and a clothing worker).  It is currently located near the rear entrance of the Front Royal Presbyterian Church.
